Tiny Tots

Our Tiny tots class is a Mommy & Me style that will feature sing-along songs, coordination activities, and exciting props all while developing motor, cognitive, and social emotional skills. This fun, energetic class is designed for children ages 1.5 - 2 years old who are not ready to be with an instructor on their own.

Preschool Tumbling/Gymnastics

Learn the basics of tumbling and gymnastics using mats and equipment in an encouraging and fun atmosphere!

Ballet/Tap/Tumbling

These Ballet/Tap/Tumbling classes are designed to bring out the dancer in your pre-school age child, emphasizing fun and learning. In our combo classes we strive to improve upon each child's motor skills and musicality while developing their self-expression and love for dance.

Baby/Toddler Dance/Tumbling Combo

Introduce your little one to dance AND tumbling in a fun and engaging atmosphere designed to get them moving! Preschool music and movement dance to fun songs coupled with basic tumbling technique and exercises using mats and gymnastics equipment will be explored each week!(Parent participation required)

Home Depot Kids Workshop

Free monthly hands-on DIY workshop for kids. Held the first Saturday of every month, 9am–noon, at participating Home Depot stores. Focus project varies each month — check the store page.

Ballet 2

Ballet 2 works on both general knowledge of ballet as well as improving the overall strength and technique of each dancer. Special attention is given to developing leg, ankle and core strength. Dancers must have at least 1 year of prior ballet classes to enroll in this class. Instructor approval required.

These Ballet/Tap/Tumbling classes are designed to bring out the dancer in your pre-school age child, emphasizing fun and learning. In our combo classes we strive to improve upon each child's motor skills and musicality while developing their self-expression and love for dance.

Junior Musical Theater and Dance: Toy Story 5

Casting all boys and girls! Join us for all the fun while learning stage presence and improving confidence! Students will participate in fun drama games, get cast parts, learn acting lines and scenes, and a finale dance routine from a popular abridged musical (Trolls session I and Toy Story 5 for session II) to perform at the end of the session for family and friends! Costumes to borrow included! Great for beginners!

Beginning Ballet

Children will learn the fundamentals of ballet technique and terminology in a fun and creative atmosphere, designed to make learning ballet fun! Class will focus on barre, center, and across the floor exercises and combinations, incorporating props and imaginative instruction. Students will also learn a special dance routine to perform for families the last day!.! Great for building confidence, poise, discipline, coordination, and flexibility.

North County Children's Choir

A free choir for 2nd–8th graders who love to sing, rehearsing Monday evenings at Coastal Music Studios in Oceanside. Open to all students in North San Diego County.

Big Kid Boogie Time (music & movement with a grown-up)

A group music and movement class for kiddos 9 months to 3 years old and the adults who love them — instruments, singing, dancing, and themed curriculum each session. Fall session runs August 17–October 10.

Afterschool Program at JLRC

The John Landes Afterschool Program is designed for elementary-aged children (ages 6–12). Participants will enjoy a variety of fun activities, including crafts, games, and sports in a group setting. They'll also have the opportunity to learn new games and receive homework help from the dedicated Parks and Recreation staff. The program follows the Vista Unified School District calendar (Casita Elementary bell schedule). Walking pick-up available from Casita.
