This page is maintained by Cartwheel to explain how we collect, use, and protect information when you use cartwheelkids.co and related services (the "Service"). By using Cartwheel you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information you provide: name, email address, ZIP code, and (if you add them) your children's first name, age, and interests.
- Booking and wallet activity: classes you browse, sessions you book or cancel, and Cartwheels purchases.
- Payment information processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
- Calendar data if you connect Google Calendar — used only to add and update your Cartwheel bookings on your calendar.
- Usage data: device, browser, IP address, and pages viewed, for security and product improvement.
How we use information
- Provide the Service — accounts, bookings, Cartwheels, receipts, and reminders.
- Communicate with you about your account, bookings, and product updates you've opted into.
- Prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.
- Improve Cartwheel by analyzing aggregate usage patterns.
Google user data
If you connect Google Calendar, Cartwheel requests only the scopes required to create and manage events representing your bookings on your calendar. We do not read or share your other calendar events, and we do not sell Google user data. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your account settings, which revokes our access.
Sharing
We share information only with (a) service providers that help us run Cartwheel (hosting, payments, email, analytics) under contract, (b) studios and coaches you book with — limited to what they need to run your class, and (c) authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Children
Cartwheel accounts are for parents and guardians. Children do not create their own accounts. Parents provide limited information about their children (first name, age, interests) so studios can run classes safely. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.
Retention & your choices
We keep account data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information at any time by emailing us.
